So John Hume (former SDLP leader, nobel peace prize winner) just died and all the brit (esp tory) politicians are predictably tweeting about what a terrible loss this is and how he was man of integrity and honesty and had great influence in the struggle for peace in Ireland.
Which is all correct.
What they’re conspicuously leaving out is that they are the fucking thing he was struggling against.
Michael fucking Gove had the brass neck to tweet that shit, when he was the fucker who referred to the Good Friday Agreement as a moral stain and compared it to Nazi appeasement.
