So the Tumblr thing was two days ago and I deleted my blog there before it

Anyone still on tumblr wanna fill me in on how things are going there? Any noticeable difference? Is it awful? Is every second post you make flagged? Or have you barely noticed?

Honestly, in my circles, I haven't really seen a difference. I haven't seen a follower (or following drop off) and I'm not getting flagged. HOWEVER, I'm also almost exclusively text based, so my experience is probably not representative of a lot of other people.

Some people whose blog has been marked as explicit now have their avatar censored, and I can't view their blog at [x].tumblr.com - it redirects to tumblr.com/dashboard/blog/[x]. They're still visible in normal dashboard view. The other change is that fewer people are tagging nsfw, so ironically I'm seeing more of it than before the ban.

That being said, regardless of whether I'm on desktop or mobile, or what browser I'm using, nothing has shown up with the orange 'flagged' notice for me at any point. So possibly everything is flagged and I just can't tell.

It's a little slower but not dramatically. People are still pissed off. Staff posted a "here's a bunch of stuff NOT covered by the ban" and it got flagged, which is, of course, hilarious.

I didn't expect an immediate implosion? But Livejournal didn't do that either. I expect more of a slow deflation. And hey, maybe I'll even be wrong about that.

Some people are missing and my dash has slowed down, but otherwise nothing has changed. Feels like the calm before the storm, though.
